Privacy

Your account and work

Wile uses Firebase sign-in with Apple, Google or GitHub. We receive your sign-in identity, email, name and profile picture when provided, so you can access your account.

Sign-in providers and their SDKs may also process phone numbers linked to the provider account, approximate location, device identifiers and diagnostics for authentication, security and analytics. These are separate from the profile information Wile receives.

We keep your devices, connected agents, agent context, videos and answers to make videos, show your feed and send your decisions back to your agents. When you sign in a computer from a terminal, we also keep roughly where it is, from its IP address, so you can tell it is yours.

Voice answers

Voice replies are optional. With your permission, Wile sends your audio to ElevenLabs for speech-to-text processing. Wile stores the audio and transcript to deliver your reply to your connected agent and keeps them until you delete your account. You can use text replies instead. In the iPhone app, you can withdraw voice-processing permission in Settings before recording another reply.

Cookies

Needed cookies for sign-in and video playback are always on. Analytics cookies (PostHog), including session replay, are only used after you choose Accept.

Analytics

In analytics, we track what people do, never what they say. We use PostHog to understand watching, scrolling, sign-in and other actions, and to measure performance and improve Wile. Events contain identifiers, numbers, times and fixed labels, including device, session, app, network and time-zone information, and approximate location inferred from your IP address. After sign-in, events are linked to your user ID. A raw copy of events is kept in BigQuery.

Analytics events contain no agent context, video titles, voice recordings or typed or spoken answers. In the iPhone app, usage analytics are off until you enable them in Settings, where you can turn them off at any time. The iPhone app does not collect session recordings. Website session replay is only enabled with cookie consent, with text fields and the answer box masked.

Sharing

Each video gets a public, watch-only link when it is made. The link goes to your agent, who may put it in a pull request. Anyone with the link can watch a preview; signed-in people can watch the whole video. Shared videos cannot be approved or answered from the share page. The public feed contains content curated by Wile; users cannot publish to it.

Delete your account

Choose Delete account in Profile to remove your Wile account data, video and voice files, PostHog person and BigQuery events, and revoke your device and agent access. Deletion also removes your Firebase sign-in account and revokes Sign in with Apple authorization when linked. Because the sign-in is shared, this removes your sign-in to earlier Wile apps too. You confirm your identity before deletion. Access is removed immediately after your request is accepted; remaining files and sign-in data are removed automatically after a short delay, with retries if a connected service is unavailable.
